Funny stuff Blake says...

Well, Blake is VERY interested in rockets, space shuttles, airplanes, all that stuff in the sky. I try to find good stuff for him to watch on Netflix, and we didn't really find anything good until recently.
There's Apollo 13, The Right Stuff, When We Left Earth (excellent), and of course The Magic of Flight.
Consequently, Blake is the most informed 2 year old (when it comes to Aerospace shtuff, anyway) in Southern Maryland.
Just over a week ago, we're in the "Red car that's not loud any more" on our way home, and he says to me (out of nowhere),
"The red airplane broke the sound barrier!"
Apparently, he's paying more attention than I thought.

When he had Pop Rocks on sunday (pic in previous post), he smiled and said,
"They're popping in my head!"

I'm really glad that we don't talk to him like a baby, he's picking up on the small nuances that make him sound older than he is...
He used to say, "What doing?", now it's "What are you doing?"
He used to say "bee-bot", now it's "robot".
I also taught him to shake hands and say "Nice to meet you, name is Blake!"
What a cute kid!

easter

After church we headed over to the McCombs' house and had an Easter egg hunt and Easter dinner. Adam and I hid the eggs, we had the regular colored eggs, one color for each kid and then we had camouflage eggs with money inside. I guess we hid those REALLY well, because 2 were still not found when we left.

Katie feeding Blake poprocks.

Blake ate TOO much candy, but he had a good time. We wore him out.

Dinner was great. As usual, we had too much food and desserts.

it's a boy

21 weeks I had an ultrasound today. The ultrasound tech asked what we wanted and I said a girl. Adam told me I shouldn't have said anything. The funny thing was, as soon as she put the ultrasound on my tummy, she said it was a boy. I thought she was joking at first, but nope. We saw it for ourselves. So as far as I am feeling.. fine. The baby is moving a lot. I can still sleep on my belly. My carpel tunnel has started up again.
