We had one day in San Diego. We went to the Temple. It was so pretty.
Then we headed to our resort in Oceanside, they had a street fair and a HUGE pier. We can't wait to come back here with the boys.

It's nice to get away. It's nice to sleep in. It's nice spending time with Adam, just the 2 of us. It's nice not having to be on the boys' schedule and lugging stuff everywhere.

But I miss them. So much.

I am grateful that David & Laura love our boys and were willing to watch them for us. I don't have to worry (much) about them. Blake loves them too!

into the desert

We landed in beautiful breezy San Diego. 72 degrees. Just lovely. As we head up the mountains, the temp kept going up. When we stopped for food, I got out of the car and all I could say was "It's hot". It was 102. Driving around yesterday, it was 108, 109. My skin is going crazy trying to adjust and I have been extra greasy.
So far I like it. Adam feels like he's back home again. We are getting to spend time with the Fonseca's, which makes it all the more awesome being here.
We are so grateful for the friends we have made. It is so awesome to see each other again.
Now we just need all the pieces to fall into place so we can buy a house and I can find a job I like.

piney point lighthouse

This past Saturday we went to Piney Point Lighthouse. It was such a beautiful day. We ate lunch and then checked it out. Blake's favorite part was throwing rocks and sand and shells into the water. He could seriously do that all day! He didn't want to leave and asked to go back.

Carolee gave us a tent and both boys loved playing in it!

Unfortunately we took it down. The toys don't like to stay in the playroom and I don't want a tent in the living room. When we move to AZ, we will have a 1 story and I won't have to worry about Sebastian falling down the stairs.
