sometimes mom's are just mean, especially if you're a cat...

how does he do it?
Since Blake has learned how to roll from his back to belly, he's been doing it at night. We put him down on his back at night, head pointing one way and when I went to get him the other morning, he's turned 160 degrees and ended up on his belly. By the way, we put him in bed around 9pm and I go get him at 7am. I DO know how lucky we are, by the way.

3 months old
Can you believe it? My baby is 3 months old today? I was looking at pictures from when he was born to now and I can't believe how much he's changed. He can hold his own weight standing, his mouth has found his hands, he's rolling over... Adam and I really enjoy him. He makes the funniest faces and noises and we just crack up! I just hope I don't keep missing stuff. I'm going to have to leave my camera at Regina's so I won't miss anything.
Here's a picture of him smiling at Kerrigan when she came to visit:

our monkeybutt
Going back to work has been okay. I haven't been as exhausted as I thought I would be. He's had no problems being with Regina.
You know what he did today, while he was with Regina? He rolled from his back to his abdomen, not once, not twice, but THREE times! Of course he does it there.
That's all. I'm too tired to write anymore.

back to work
Thursday will be my first day back to work. I'm a little nervous and a little excited. I'm glad that I had these 3 months with my baby. I don't think I could have gone back after 6 or 8 weeks. Blake will be with our friend Regina when I'm at work. It really has taken a lot off my mind to have him with someone that I know loves him and will take good care of him.
I will let you know how it goes.

seriously!!!
Since Adam and I have been together, he swears my eyes are brown, that there is absolutely no green in them. I think it's a blatant lie. From a distance they do LOOK brown, but I think they are mostly green with a ring of brown near the irises. So I made him take a picture today. What do you think? Just brown? Or green?

because Mar asked me to...
Here is the story of how Adam asked me to marry him:
We had been talking about getting married for a couple weeks. I was living in CT, working as a nanny. I went to the singles ward there and on Monday nights after FHE a group of us would go to Bennigans. Adam had come down and came with us. We were all sitting around and Adam says that he has to go to the bathroom. I saw him walk back toward us. I was talking to my friends and not paying attention, so I didn't notice that he didn't come back to sit with us. I had my back to the door. I was talking my friend Amelia and saw the look of surprise on her face and heard several gasps at the same time, so I made blinders out of my hands and looked down. (To explain, Adam had surprised one of his old girlfriends before in a pink bunny suit, and all I could think was "Not a pink bunny suit, not a pink bunny suit".) I was afraid to look. Hesitantly, I peeked under my hand. He was standing there in his dress blues with a bouquet of red roses. I just sat there looking at him until he said "well aren't you going to come here?" So I got up and he got down on one knee and promised he'd take me away from NY and asked me to marry him. (I actually love NY, but with him being in the Marines, there's no way you stay in one place forever) I said yes, a little embarrassed by all the attention. All the girls were squealing (Adam's word) and excited.
